I think it’s clear that Jones has some sort of mental disorder. I’m not saying that’s an excuse. His brain should be sectioned and studied as soon as possible.

Judging from his history, I would say he is just a serious sociopath. He is now cornered and refuses to give in, lashing out/grasping at straws as best as he can.
