I consider it making a prediction based on what she has done after joining the R national ticket last fall, rather than what she did prior. My prediction could be wrong, and I hope it is, but I see her as now getting into the political game rather than using her very positive results as governor to succeed without the need to play their game. She will not be playing to her strengths.

Her strengths are challenging the establishment. She had successes as Governor, but the legislature continues to resist her measures, and it takes a lot of effort to change the Status Quo. With all the crap she was dealing with, her efforts were getting diluted. Whether it hurts or helps her bid for higher office, I believe her decision was a good one.
