NO. Here’s the problem with the right’s Cloward Piven conspiracy theory: If Obama really wanted to destroy the economy the easiest way to do it would be to let the banking system fail. The economy would implode almost immediately. The only people “seriously” talking about not bailing out the banks are the Tea Party folks on the right.

I think you’re right. Personally, I think the idea that there is a strategy to anything these people are doing misses the point. The left has become so incoherent, and so bereft of anything approaching a philosophy (in large part thanks to multi-culturalism) that they find themselves with nothing but a handful of fantasies and no mechanism by which they can understand or control anything. Much like jihadists, I might add. Unfortunately for us, this very cluelessness and inability to accept reality will make them very dangerous when they fail. They will be looking for scapegoats, and they will find them - lots of them.
