In other sports news, it appears that some members in Congress are now interested in discussing with Mr. Sosa his statement to them in 2995, under oath, that he had never taken performance enhancing drugs.

I anticipate that Mr. Sosa will suddenly become very interested in spending a lot of time imitating the invisible man.

I read somewhere that the way Sosa phrased his denial before Congress he is going to be OK. He said he never was injected, which he might not have been. That he never took “Illegal” drugs, which they were not at the time in the Dominican Republic. He may be smarter than he looks and the other Ballplayers.
