Not despair, wish I could airlift the protestors some stuff to even out the odds.
While I understand the emotion of your wish, I think recent history has shown that—overtime—citizens peacefully protesting and being physically abused by the “authority” has done more to create LASTING change than outright violent revolt.
The problem with violent revolt is that it takes a violent person to orchestrate. Then that person or groups of people are in charge and you just get more of the same.
Lasting peace and stability can take a generation. People who are willing to work within the system to change laws.
