I finally got fed up stumbling over the shit I’ve been collecting for 20 years and rented a 40 yard dumpster. Couldn’t believe what a pack rat I had been, I was jumping up and down on that stupid thing by the time I was finished cleaning up.

When we moved to Katy, Texas from Paducah I went ahead to start the job. When the house sold and the wife moved to Katy, she didn’t want to throw away any of my stuff, cause you don’t know what is important to your spouse (you think that you do, but you don’t).

When the movers rolled into Katy, they had a tractor-tailer load of stuff, and my wife was driving U-Haul’s largest truck, and my brother was driving another. The daughter was driving one car, stuffed beyond safety, and my other brother was driving the convertible.

First thing we did was rent a couple of storage buildings. Then we had a kick-ass yard sale a couple of months later so we could get rid of one of the storage buildings.

Junk. It was all junk. But it was my junk.
