Castle Cagliostro popped up in my brain immediately when I saw that! Interesting trivia is that Princess Clarise’s car, at least the one she tries to escape in, is a Citroen 2CV (“Deux Chevaux”, “two-horse”) that the director, Miyazaki, owned at one point. Great movie.
