A while ago, there was this mountain that blew up, and it wiped out all life just as much as having a glacier over you would (and to tie it in just for you, the dust probably helped fight global warming for a while :p)

I’m always amazed by the ability of nature to recover from something like that, and having been there, the progression forest is simply wonderful to see.

Ok… I understand what you are saying, I wasn’t sure how that related to receding glaciers. Are you trying to say the glacier will recover on it’s own.
