I don’t know if I’d describe myself as a true Dead Head. I saw several shows. I had friends who traveled with the tour. They definitely counted. And it was they who turned me on. Sadly they moved to SF just before Jerry died. I’d love to reconnect iwth them to see how they are today. For me, what drew me in was Jerry’s acoustic roots and bluegrass affinities. That’s why I loved the band.
