Rand Paul is following the libertarian tradition of people being allowed to do what they want with private property provided they don’t violate the rights of others. He has stated he doesn’t think business SHOULD discriminate, but that they should be allowed to if they want to be idiots.

You appear to have missed the fact that excluding people based on race, sex, or other arbitrary criteria from a public business is, in fact, a violation of their civil rights. So not only do you not understand the issue, but you also manage to prove yourself wrong. Sprinkle a dash of false equivalency and lack of awareness in your last paragraph and you have your comment.
