Basically: If my hypothetical daughter is going to go out with someone I know date-raped someone else, I am going to (first and foremost) warn her that he’s a date-rapist and she shouldn’t go out with him. If she chose to still go out with him— since unfortunately, a lot of date-rapists are very good at playing the victim— it wouldn’t be any more her fault if she did get raped, but it would be more likely then if she went out with someone who wasn’t a known date-rapist.
