Question about political donations:
When I contribute to a candidate, the online system allows me to make automatic future payments of a smaller amount on a regular basis. If I do elect that option, will that spare me the constant barrage of texts soliciting future funds for that candidate?

Open a second Gmail account - call it Hecuba_politicaldonations@gmail or something like that. Unsubscribe from all mailing lists at your normal account and use that email for new donations. All the spam will collect there and you can go in and flush the whole inbox periodically.
