This 35 miles from Gaza, does it mean 35 miles from port, or from the shoreline?

Is the plan to run the boat into the beach or scuttle it so that it can be offloaded later rather than actually bring it to a dock?

If they scuttle it, Israel should clear it of rats and blow it up as a nautical nuisance.
