Cafedumonde’s beignet mix is excellent, I agree. Used it, eaten there. But the shipping charges to the UK will kill me.

Seriously, reine, you and others might want to think about a website in the UK selling this stuff. I checked somewhere with proper Cajun food (might have been cafe du monde) and the shipping was prohibitive.
And forget getting andouille, tasso, or any of that. Impossible where we are. :(

Friend of mine was in the UK recently, she and her hubby were taking some sort of course at Oxford - she blogged about her trip - said she had a craving for peanut butter and COULD NOT FIND ANY. So there’s another item for the list.
