No, but the show was entertaining. Think of a Faulknerian story line, without the good writing or interesting characters; Southern Gothic meets hillbilly crazy. What were they like? The patriarch of the family was a drunken ex-GI, booted from the service after serving time for atrocities committed in the field, about which he never failed to tell you once he’d gotten enough cheap whisky in him.
