That kind of reminds me of a story (maybe web, maybe newspaper) I heard yesterday. There is an MLK monument being built in DC and the King Foundation is charging a fee for the use of MLK’s words/image. I understand it’s different from an entertainer’s songs being used, but there’s something strange about that kind of “ownership” of history.
