Yep. People just don’t get it. Idiots I say. I was actually reading about Muslims in America last night out of boredom and there have literally been Muslims here from the start.

Yeah, in addition to travelers/visitors there were also Muslims among the slaves. That had to seriously suck in the South when Ramadan fell in the summertime (though I imagine after a generation or two most Islamic practices would have largely been forgotten and/or abandoned).
