I sort of feel that way about blogs and leaving comments on them.

100 years from now no one will have known I even existed, or probably any of us for that matter. (A few of you who have grandchildren may be known, if their children are into their family tree.)

All of us are just passing by, our products (such as they are) being the detritus of civilization.
