My friends and I get funny to dirty looks from blacks when we go out for drinks. Usually the black guys make crude comments to my female friends who are black and the black women just tend to glare in general. And I know from experience that if I was up north in Sonoma County with the same friends, I’d get plenty of funny to dirty looks from all the lily white folk there. Racism is definitely alive and well. Even in Northern California.
