That’s an absurd accusation. He’s quite savvy on partisan talking points and literally wrote the book on how politicians and activists manipulate the press and public opinion.

And yet, here he is, engaging in intellectual dishonesty by suggesting that “Etch-A-Sketch” is old news (it isn’t), that nobody gave context for who the 47% were in Romney’s speech (they did), and most puzzlingly of all, that the media is accusing romney of believing what he said instead of assuming he was just playing to the crowd.

And the overarching theme is that the media was somehow wrong to run with Romney’s comments as is, rather than trying to parse them down and argue them “in context.”
