I learned last time around that the establishment will usually get its candidate even if he is flawed

Just because something often happened in the past doesn’t mean it will happen in the future. Romney was sort of a lame candidate but he was miles ahead of where Jeb! is now. Jeb! has only 1/3 of Mitt’s support and two other competitors for the establishment vote. Plus the wingnuts are more ornery this year. In a 4 or 5 way race Trump could pull out a plurality and throw it into a brokered convention. ahahahahah!
