Was talking about this with some Dem friends yesterday—as some folks here had brought up the other day about the idea of having co-chairs—one as the face of the DNC (Ellison) and one to do the nitty-gritty work (like Dean or similar)

There is precedent for that in the DNC—back in the 1990s, Don Fowler was National Chairman while Chris Dodd served as “General Chairman.”

I really think that’s a good way to go.
