Bah, the republicans couldn’t repeal the ACA and their base actually wants them to do that. You seriously think they have a chance at doing away with Social Security. Unless the government completely fails and we become a post apocalyptic wasteland SS isn’t going anywhere any time soon.

They will starve it like Obamacare. They want all that luscious money in the SS trust. If they steal it to pay for war or defense or what have you, then, hey, there is no more money for SocSec so sorry, you’re on your own.
