No, worse is when you pay those premiums for years, then have a major medical incident only to be told that the claim won’t be covered because a totally routine procedure is not covered by the policy you’re paying for. So not only will you be responsible for part or the entirety of the bill, but your premiums will be going up if not your policy canceled outright due to projected future costs.
