My brother is a deranged supporter but he does recognize that this is serious and the disease is not a hoax. However, he still believes whatever Trump says. He’s bought in to the idea that the COVID-19 will vanish in the spring and then return in the fall — and that’s because Trump said so. He believes that Trump protected from a more widespread outbreak because of measures to stop air traffic to China a few weeks ago. I’m not sure what it will take for him to see the truth.

Well, the widespread outbreak is building as we speak. Maybe as Rome burns and DT blusters, more will become clear to him.
