My church bought a plot of land for their new campus. The land by itself - absent any actual construction or planning costs - was $700k. And that’s in a massively rural area where land isn’t exactly at a premium price.

I mean, I was just thinking of office space in a major metro area. If you’re talking actual land, holy hell… $2m isn’t going to cover your property taxes.
