When I drove Bunky Big Rig and went to Vermont to deliver, the Quebecer Bunky Big Rigs had false bottoms in their sleeper cabs.
I went across the border at Thousand Islands hundreds of times.
I brought things up to my Canadians. Yes I did.
But back to Vermont…
Watched them crush and throw cardboard boxes of liquor into the dumpsters.
Quebec had sin tax on alcohol and cigarettes.
A simple Bunky Big Rigger from Quebec could make about 500 bucks on one turnaround.
