Hell fucking no. We’re in this mess in significant part because Ford pardoned Nixon and the DOJ writing a memo that says you can’t indict a sitting president.

We never needed to indict a sitting president, but Trump clearly engaged in felony conduct, and engaged in criminal conduct before and after 2020 (especially 1/6/2021).

Pardoning sends the precisely wrong message. It elevates criminality and makes those who would want to break the law even more bold to commit criminal conduct and erode the rule of law.

It doesn’t bring about resolution of issues or bring the nation together. It gives the GOP cover for their misconduct for years on end.

No - the answer is to forcefully prosecute those who engage in criminal conduct. You want someone to get a pardon? How about this - let the underlings testify against Trump on all of those felonies, while Trump and his key leadership are prosecuted. Meadows, Trump, Jared, and all of Trump’s inner circle prosecuted, along with those members of Congress who conspired with Trump.

Then we can talk about who doesn’t get charged and prosecuted.
