There’s a very long and detailed Bluesky thread going from Akiva Cohen about what is and isn’t true about the Israeli raid. Aid vehicles are right out. The civilian marked vehicle they used was for extraction only; the soldiers went in disguised, rescued the hostages, and attempted to make their way out in the truck, only for Hamas fighters to take out the truck and force the soldiers to fight their way out. All of which is pretty standard, and would probably make for a pretty good movie, after the fact.
