The new Bruce Hornsby live album is really, really great. This guy continues to make good music, even if the music industry isn’t paying attention. Packed with funny moments and excellent musicianship.

I guess that I just haven’t listened enough to Hornsby’s more recent stuff, but I love a lot of his classic stuff with the Range, such as just about the whole The Way It Is album (which I had won on cassette eons ago at a JA thing in middle school) and “The Show Goes On” (used on the Backdraft soundtrack; it’s become one of my favorite Hornsby songs).
