I disagree. Partially. You are correct that the Democrat Club is free to take itself elsewhere. But this is, indeed, a free speech issue. The college is exposing itself as both fascist & cowardly when it comes to any differing opinions.

I don’t believe any students are being asked to leave. They’re disbanding the Democratic Club a the university, but the students who belong, as far as I’ve read, aren’t facing any punishment other than losing their membership in the club. And it’s the end of the school year, so there probably aren’t even any membership dues in play.
