I think, based on some of the reviews, that the latest mini-series went some way to improving the outlook. I saw a review of the earlier episodes, and they didn’t look too interesting. There seemed to be much of “men on men” to keep my interest. The Doctor Who series is good, although I’ve only seen a few of the episodes, mainly courtesy of Air Canada who seem to have a well-stocked library of Doctor Who episodes. The problem is that the flying time from NY to any major Canadian city east of Toronto isn’t long enough to see a whole episode.
