It’s interesting where Colbert is taking the show. He’s going for some laughs in his intros and guest bits where appropriate while devoting a significant segment to actual timely information. His interviews with both Elon Musk and the Uber guy were excellent. His interview with Biden, beautiful and moving. If he keeps this up I will become a late night TV watcher.

I haven’t seen any yet but I am not surprised that he’s doing well. He was a talent before the Colbert character and and like Biden knows what it’s like to lose family in a tragedy like that- for those who don’t know Stephen’s father and two of his older brothers died in a place crash when Stephen was a boy.
