Gas heater wouldn’t go on. Get ladder out, go waaaay up, press reset button. Still nothing. Notice pilot light is out. Go through lighting procedure. Still nothing. Go way up and press reset button again. Nope. Notice wire to thermostat is broken (probably during pilot lighting procedure). Peel a bit of wire and reattach. Still nothing. Try reset button again? No, I notice that after I relit the pilot light, I forgot to turn the knob to ‘on’. Now I have heat! Still have to put the ladder away.
