I didn’t say that they wouldn’t get nothing, unless you think it won’t matter if Crist or Rubio gets elected. I do. Rubio will most likely vote a lot more in step with the republicans than Crist, even if Crist ends up caucusing with the republicans. Crist might win, end up cutting a deal with the GOP, and caucusing with them, but that would still be a lot better for the democrats than Rubio getting elected. Unless the democrats believe that Rubio will end up being a lot easier to defeat in 2016.
I’m guessing a lot of democratic strategists would like anything that stops Rubio’s plans to reach even higher, even for just a while.

Anyway, I doubt Meek is a prioritized candidate for the democrats.

Agreed. The Dems would be better off running ads against Meek. Crist would be far better than Rubio for the Dems, and Meek’s got no chance unless Crist and Rubio both get caught up in sex scandals in the next 8 weeks.
