She’s flat-out lying. I’ve been a single mom and struggled to raise one child—there’s no way in hell you could work 40-hour weeks in the kinds of jobs she’s talking about and raise 3 kids without assistance from anyone—the child care expenses alone would eat up all your pay. Then add food, clothing, rent, utilities, transportation, medical, school supplies…

But hey, who wouldn’t prefer to see their kids malnourished, shoeless & dressed in rags over having to humble oneself by taking a “handout”, right?
