I understand the need for limited copyright, but the system as it is now is insane.

“Death plus 70 years” has turned me into a complete scofflaw. And it will keep being extended—because of Disney. Let’s just pass a constitutional amendment that Mickey Mouse will never enter public domain and maybe they’d withdraw their lobbyists.
