Yep, that story made headlines across the St. Croix here. I’m just sitting here shaking my damn head, and thanking my lucky stars that the GOP Senate here was just grandstanding instead of issuing a serious threat to the governor’s power. I am sad that Governor Walz is loosening the reins now, but I imagine he is having to walk a fine line in order to prevent a full-on political revolt in the Senate.
