Nebraska still generates 49% of its electricity with coal. The rest is wind, solar, nuclear, and hydroelectric.

We are sixth in the nation on personal energy consumption, which the Energy Information Administration attributes to our blazing summers and extreme winters.

In fuel oil usage, we are third after Wyoming and North Dakota.

In industrial electricity usage, we are third after California and Texas.

Wait, not a single NatGas Plant? Really?

Doesn’t seem right.
