Yes, France’s macho men are much maligned, or invisible to most of us.

Macho French cops beat to a bloody pulp a Croatian who robbed me on a night train to Spain.

They wanted me to press charges & file a report, but because their police station spoke neither English, German or Spanish, I could not fill out their police report!
