I have a hard time judging the pulse of the people. Does this carry water where you live? Here near Albany NY, even the state is laying off 4,500 people.

I don’t know the commentator, but the fact that his blog is entitled “The Economic Collapse” might be a clue as to his world view. And: what a surprise! his post is consistent with that world view.
