Well, this certainly is great news if you love seeing your tax refunds go up in smoke in the NYC metro area. NYS is once again pursuing the tolling of all the East River bridges that are currently free. It’s the plan that simply will not die. They’re proposing imposing tolls equal to that of the subway fares, but they’re also looking to increase payroll taxes, taxes on non-city resident parking in garages, and a few other things to raise more than a $1 billion in revenue.

That’s money coming out of your pockets…
