You left out a very important mention of what he left out - namely, the Federal employees pay taxes as well! And buy stuff from private sector employees, thus helping to ensure they have jobs!

That they do. So they kick in 1/6th of their own salary and bennies, which leaves 5/6th funded by private sector taxpayers!
