Well, on itunes, I just drag my Mp3s manually into the player. I have an emusic account ( EMUSIC IS AWESOME!!) and I haven’t had problems. it is time consuming though. I don’t do any of the automatic sync stuff.

My problem with itunes is it just brings my machine to a screeching halt, it doesn’t give me feedback on whether stuff is properly copied over, it takes many times as long as my Zen to copy music, it’s just slow and sluggish and constantly demanding updates and chugging while it serves you ads and ugh.

The only reason I keep iTunes on my computer right now is that I’ve bought a couple songs and videos that I couldn’t find on Bearshare, plus my sister bought me an iPod Touch for my birthday a couple months back and experience with hers tells me keeping my iPod synced regularly is a very good idea.
