I’m assuming that the pro-torture contingent here is fully in support of waterboarding the captured Huatree terrorists? Perhaps just stripping them naked and throwing them in a freezing room for 3 days while being deprived of sleep, then tying their arms behind their backs and slamming them into the wall?

After all, how can we know that these terrorists don’t have any more plots underway. American lives are at stake here, it would be morally wrong NOT to torture them.

When could no more torture them than we could do so to John Walker Lindh. They are American citizens, and thus in a different legal category than foreign Islamists.
