I have a hard time thinking that the individual Mullahs are all mad. Given the history of Iran, the older generation does know what life can be like. They are an educated and civilized people. They are also human. Over time, humans cannot bear the obvious injustice of persecuting peaceful opposition. Sorry, I think Iran would be better to follow Ghandi and MLKjr in this situation.

Ghandi and MLK only work where the already governments have a respect for law and individual rights. Where the issues are the when the government in question is hypocritical in treatment of some. Ghandi and MLK hold up and mirror.

Ghandi and MLK end up dead in regimes based on repression.
