Why Benfice? Is there a reason?

Why have had Portuguese (double) citizenship since I was 4, and grew up in Portugal (was there from 4 to 16, only coming to the US for more or less 1 month a year). Also, Benfica is my mother’s soccer club.

My father, OTOH, made a Knicks fan out of me. :(
