Not sure why but that movie always depresses the fuck out of me. I have to watch the Charlie Brown Christmas show to get it out of my head.

It’s a Wonderful Life ends well, but before the joyous Christmas morning George Bailey has to pass through a very dark night. He falls victim to despair, and Jimmy Stewart lets us see his pain. We believe he wants to kill himself, and it is from that place that he is rescued. Things do come out well, but the movie deals with some brutal emotions along the way.
