re: #445 Wendell Zurkowitz ((slave to the waffle light))
We used to go to the cheap seat Saturday matinees in Hammond, Indiana. I remember watching Saturday Night Fever when it first came out, not really knowing what it was about, just going along because it was something to get out of the house.
Reminds me of being dragged to Star Wars (the original, now Episode IV) by my sister, not understanding the looooong line, not understanding any of it. Three years when The Empire Strikes Back came out, I was in line for the first showing. I saw it ~65 times that summer (1980).
