A black belt just means you’ve learned the basics. And I cannot remember how many jokes I’ve been told about the blackbelt who got decked by some guy in a bar.

Exactly, I don’t mean to call to authority, but over the last 30 years I have trained hundreds of black belts from most every system imaginable, and on several continents, as well as military, police, special forces, champion kick-boxers, bikers, etc. I have a short list of those I’d actually choose to be with me in a fight and most of them ain’t martial artists. Also, the dangerous ones are generally very humble, respectful and soft spoken.
